Chli Ride
Get out that winter gear, whip up your version of manly chili (or a scrumptious desert) and bring your bike and your partner
to West Columbia for the annual Chili Ride at the Mahoney's Riverhaven. The party will go on, rain or shine, snow
or blustery winds. If its nice enough to ride, be there a 10:00 AM to start with the group for flat rides of varying
distances and all speeds. Bring a change of clothes if you want to clean up and strange beverages of choice if you don't
want soda with your chili. Email the Mahoneys at m-smahoney@sbcglobal.net preferably by Wednesday the 11th...but don't let manners stand in the way of joining the group. The weather
forecast is for a start in the mid 50s warming to the 60s by afternoon.

December Lights Ride
The Annual Lights Ride will be hosted by the Colvin/Johnsons in the Heights...an area that takes their Christmas lights seriously.
Decorate your bikes and decorate your Captains and come show your holiday spirit. This has traditionally been an affair
that allowed teams to compete in a friendly way to see who had the most creative Christmas spirit. You'll
never match the unique costumes of the Curries or the Davises. Mahoney's technology hasn't been matched.
But give it a try...maybe you will be the new clever team in the HATS! Sunday, Dec. 18 at 5:30 at the CJ home on W.
15th. See the newsletter for specifics. Don't forget to RSVP for the Jan. 15th Chili Ride in West Columbia.

kit from various significant events, helmets, seats, and bike stamps and record covers. The event is free, but if you
like what you see and want to see more, feel free to donate towards the building fund for the Museum. The hours are
from noon til 5:00. I guarantee a smile.

January, 23, 2011, The Chili Ride Not that
I'd know, but the day seemed perfect for a bike ride. The food, I'm told, was plentiful and I'll vouch that
some of it was delicious. The group was sympathetic and interested.

March 13, 1999 St. Patrick's Day Parade A small contingency
of intrepid HATS members joined the strip joints, bars, eateries of Richmond Street and others in the frigid cold to celebrate
St. Paddy's day. Things to note: our clothing (it was bitterly cold!), how small Amanda was, the "clown
bikes" (sorry, Hanz...they didn't believe they were Real bikes) and the Out of Towner HATS.

SWTR Double DATES hosted
tandem rally in Tyler, Texas. About the turn of the century?
