Fredericksburg Weekend
March 26 & 27, Hugh and Becky Reeves will be hosting a HATS weekend in Fredericksburg associated with the LBJ 100.
Hugh may send out a notice, but since no one has stepped up to lead the club or volunteered to do the newsletter, there won't
be anymore notice than what you are reading or, if Hugh does...their invitation. Watch for it! You might want
to go to our events page and sign up for the LBJ ride, regardless. Its a lovely ride and its the right time of year
to be in the Hill Country and Fredericksburg.

Valentines Day Ride
Come join the Fondrens for the pre-Valentines Day Ride in La Grange. Rides begin at 10:00 AM from town square in
La Grange and travel roads and routes that will be used in the 2011 SWTR. Lunch will be at the Bistro 108 at 1:30.
Plan accordingly...as the late comers may end up eating with strangers! Or even people outside the club. Bring
a wrapped gift (or a warped gift) of less than $20 value to participate in the gift exchange. The weather forecast is
for 65 degrees and sunny. Perfect weather, great roads, beautiful people...what more can you ask for in cycling? RSVP
to lfondren@enableservices.com

January, 23, 2011, The Chili Ride Not that
I'd know, but the day seemed perfect for a bike ride. The food, I'm told, was plentiful and I'll vouch that
some of it was delicious. The group was sympathetic and interested.

March 13, 1999 St. Patrick's Day Parade A small contingency
of intrepid HATS members joined the strip joints, bars, eateries of Richmond Street and others in the frigid cold to celebrate
St. Paddy's day. Things to note: our clothing (it was bitterly cold!), how small Amanda was, the "clown
bikes" (sorry, Hanz...they didn't believe they were Real bikes) and the Out of Towner HATS.

SWTR Double DATES hosted
tandem rally in Tyler, Texas. About the turn of the century?
